Multiscale fractal-power-law model for shale extraction with water reflux case

After the shale reservoir is hydraulically fractured, gas transported to horizontal well through various media. Hydraulic fracturing produces hydraulic fractures and generates secondary fractures. The fracture induction areas are filled with water phases. In this work, using power-law distribution porous media fractal theory, as accounting for seepage mechanisms in both phases, a multi-scale mining model constructed. results of study demonstrated that: (1) degree determined by number factors. An appropriate more conducive improving production. There competitive relationship between reflux. Either above or below moderate interval may lead excessive reflux affect (2) Various properties phase also influence production pore structure evolution. A maximum relative permeability non-wetting entry pressure can contribute good progression desirable (3) contribution porosity evolution greater than initial pressure.
